Group Names On Facebook
Thankfully the group name isn't in that small category of permanent names, and it's not totally apparent the best ways to change it, but it can be done.

To begin, go to your group page on Facebook but do not click on "Edit Settings" due to the fact that it ain't exactly what you want. Instead look down the best side of the page. About a 3rd of the method down you'll see these options:.
Click on "Edit Group" and you'll see a lots of various choices that you can modify, most importantly the group name:.
Let's focus a bit on that so you can see what it looks like:.
To change your Facebook group name, just click in the text box that has the existing name and usage ERASE, arrows and just like alter the name to one that's more proper. For this demonstration, I changed the group name from "Front Range Blogger Meetup: The Facebook Group" to just "Front Variety Blog Writer Meetup".
When you have actually set it properly, click "Conserve" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too difficult once you know where to click.
Confusingly, however, the page that includes the notice of the modification being accepted still has the old name displayed:.
No worries. That's just a caching problem: click on "Back to Group" and we see the appropriate name:.
Now we're done and it's verified.
I should discuss that everybody in the group will see an update alert that the name has actually been altered, but I can't imagine that's a problem:.
