Facebook can send you notices through email or text for almost every possible interaction on its website. The notifications can signal you if you've got a brand-new message, were mentioned in a post, tagged in an image or discuss your wall; among other things. You'll also see these interactions when you visit to Facebook. If you wish to remove certain alerts, you can decide out by editing your notification settings. Pop-up notices that appear while you're visited can be deleted instantly , Erase Notifications On Facebook.

On the Mobile App (Android).


1. Open the Facebook app. It's the white "F" on a blue background icon. If you're logged in, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't already logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or telephone number) and password and tap Log In.


2. Tap the world icon. It's at the top of the screen. Doing so will open your current alerts.

3. Tap and hold a notice. You should see a context menu with Hide notification pop up after about a 2nd.

4. Tap Hide alert. Doing so will remove the alert from your recent notifications menu and the activity log.

On the Mobile App (iPhone).


1. Open the Facebook app. It's the white "F" on a blue background icon. If you're visited, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't already logged into Facebook, enter your e-mail address (or contact number) and password and tap Log In.


2. Tap the globe icon. It's at the bottom of the screen and to the left of the ☰ icon. Doing so will open your recent notifications.

3. Swipe left on an alert. Doing so will raise the Hide alternative to the right of the notification.

4. Tap Conceal. Doing this will remove the alert from your Facebook activity log; you'll not see it when you tap the globe icon.
You can duplicate this process for each notification you wish to clear.

On Desktop.


1. Open the Facebook site. If you're logged into Facebook, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or phone number) into the top right corner of the screen and click Log In.


2. Click the notices globe. It's in the top best side of the screen. Doing so will open a drop-down menu of your recent Facebook alert.

3. Hover your cursor over a notice. You should see a "..." icon and a little circle appear on the ideal side of the notification's box.

  • For instance, if you wish to get rid of a notification about a good friend liking your status, you 'd put the mouse cursor over" [Call] likes your post: [Post]".


4. Click the "..." button. You'll see this in the top right corner of the individual notification's box.

5. Click Conceal this notice. It's on the right side of the screen. Doing so will quickly get rid of the notification from the world icon menu and avoid it from appearing once again when you open the Current Alerts menu later on.
