How To Change Group Name On Facebook
Thankfully the group name isn't really in that small classification of irreversible names, and it's not totally obvious ways to alter it, but it can be done.

To begin, go to your group page on Facebook but don't click on "Edit Settings" due to the fact that it ain't what you desire. Rather look down the right side of the page. About a third of the way down you'll see these choices:.
Click "Edit Group" and you'll see a heap of various alternatives that you can modify, most significantly the group name:.

To alter your Facebook group name, simply click in the text box that has the current name and usage DELETE, arrows and much like alter the name to one that's more appropriate. For this presentation, I changed the group name from "Front Range Blog Writer Meetup: The Facebook Group" to simply "Front Range Blogger Meetup".
When you have actually set it effectively, click on "Conserve" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too difficult once you understand where to click.
Confusingly, though, the page that includes the alert of the change being accepted still has the old name showed:.
No worries. That's just a caching problem: click "Back to Group" and we see the appropriate name:.
Now we're done and it's confirmed.
I must mention that everybody in the group will see an update notice that the name has actually been changed, but I cannot think of that's a problem:.
