Facebook can send you notices via email or text for nearly every possible interaction on its site. The notices can notify you if you've got a new message, were pointed out in a post, tagged in an image or talk about your wall; to name a few things. You'll also see these interactions when you visit to Facebook. If you wish to get rid of particular notices, you can pull out by editing your notification settings. Pop-up alerts that appear while you're logged in can be erased immediately , Delete Notifications On Facebook.

On the Mobile App (Android).


1. Open the Facebook app. It's the white "F" on a blue background icon. If you're logged in, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't currently logged into Facebook, key in your e-mail address (or telephone number) and password and tap Log In.


2. Tap the world icon. It's at the top of the screen. Doing so will open your recent notifications.

3. Tap and hold a notice. You must see a context menu with Hide alert pop up after about a 2nd.

4. Tap Hide alert. Doing so will remove the notice from your current alerts menu and the activity log.

On the Mobile App (iPhone).


1. Open the Facebook app. It's the white "F" on a blue background icon. If you're logged in, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't already logged into Facebook, type in your e-mail address (or telephone number) and password and tap Log In.


2. Tap the world icon. It's at the bottom of the screen and to the left of the ☰ icon. Doing so will open your recent notifications.

3. Swipe left on a notice. Doing so will raise the Hide option to the right of the notification.

4. Tap Hide. Doing this will eliminate the notice from your Facebook activity log; you'll not see it when you tap the globe icon.
You can duplicate this procedure for each alert you want to clear.

On Desktop.


1. Open the Facebook site. If you're logged into Facebook, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or telephone number) into the top right corner of the screen and click Log In.


2. Click the notifications globe. It's in the leading ideal side of the screen. Doing so will open a drop-down menu of your current Facebook notification.

3. Hover your cursor over an alert. You must see a "..." icon and a little circle appear on the ideal side of the notice's box.

  • For example, if you wish to remove a notice about a friend liking your status, you 'd place the mouse cursor over" [Name] likes your post: [Post]".


4. Click the "..." button. You'll see this in the leading right corner of the individual alert's box.

5. Click Conceal this notice. It's on the ideal side of the screen. Doing so will promptly eliminate the notice from the world icon menu and avoid it from appearing once again when you open the Recent Notices menu later.
